Do Not Drive if...

If any of the following conditions is relevant to you do not drive unless absolutely necessary:

You are taking any perscribed medication that causes drowsiness.
You have taken recreational drugs.
You are very tired.
You are overcome by negative emotions such as sadness or anger as this could impair your concentration and driving ability

Attitude on the Roads

Stay calm at all times. If you are angry or otherwise distracted, you are more likely to have a serious accident.
Do not shout at or threaten other drivers, especially when carrying children as this can be distressing for all concerned.
If you are stopped by the police, remain calm and polite at all times. If you dispute their decision do not argue as you can always appeal at a later date.
Take extra care around pedestrians and cyclists
